Participants in the Groovy Mood Food program will gain experience in a diverse range of tasks in a functioning small business, including: planning, budgeting, handling money, marketing, food safety, hygiene, cooking, sales, and the list goes on.
Groovy Mood Food participants make a range of yummy gelato that is regularly sold by the team at local markets and community events. Proceeds from the sale of gelato go directly back into improving and expanding the business so that more people get the opportunity to participate in this great enterprise.
The program has been designed to teach a range of skills that will allow you to live a more independent life in your community.
If you are an NDIS participant with social and community participation supports or capacity building skill development supports and would like to join this program please contact the office on 4927 6383.
